Same over here: no posts are published from tweets. Activated both in Social and in twitter-tools the twitter account. Broadcasting is off as I do not want to tweet the posts, it’s mostly a private blog.
When i activate debugging and and want to authorize the twitter account on my profile page I do see this:

Maybe this is the problem. Anyway no tweets published. Do not see anything in the logs about any attempt to do it. Otherwise when I create a post (which is not tweeted) this is in the debug log:

Downloading the tweets manually also does not function. This is in the webserver error log

I am not experiencing this anymore. I am not entire sure what I did but it’s auto generating post now.
When I want to authorize the twitter account on my profile or the facebook account the same error occurs on the authorization with the mailchimp URL

This is in the SOCIAL plugin and that’s why the tweets do not get published I suppose. The strange thing is that linking the twitter account in the settings of the SOCIAL and the twitter-tools plugin are no problem at all.
This plugin does import the tweets as separate posts and it works http://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/tweets-as-posts
