for me too… definitely is a problem with wp 5.6… on other older installations of wordpress, Plugin Groups still works… do you know an alternative to this plugin?
@atelieruldeweb @aledef – This is due to the jQuery version in 5.6
For now, you can resolve this for a while by using https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper
This is the current solution that WordPress mentions in the release notes

Can’t import settings, can’t delete plugin from group, etc. Please save the plugin
@alexandrost @aledef @atelieruldeweb – I’ve pushed version 1.2.2 which adds WordPress 5.6 compatibility.
I’ll try get a full update done with an overhaul sometime this year.
After the update the plugin settings are totally blank/not visible
There’s also an issue with the jQuery Migrate Helper dashboard warning overlaying the plugin UI. Have to turn that off each time I want to use Plugin Groups.
jQuery didn’t fix the issue for me at this point on WP 5.7.2.
