    Hi

I’m using your WooCommerce Orders Tracking Premium plugin on my site which contains thousands of orders and their associated tracking information. The version I’m using is very old for instance, one of my sites is using version 1.0.6 and some of them maybe using version older than this.

So, my question is if I now update the plugin from an older version to latest version will it cause any issue to my site? to my orders? data related to order. And my old orders tracking will be there?

P.S I’m not facing any issue in plugin’s working now just wanted to update since it is getting older. Please let me know.

    Regards.

    Hi,

The new features in the General tab help to manage the tracking number at the item level in each order (by Items only) or by Order only. This feature is beneficial if you do AliExpress dropshipping, you can use:

    • Order only – Each order can have 1 tracking number at a time or
    • Order items only – Each order item has its own tracking number.
    • Both order and order item.

You can find the one which is suitable for you. You can learn more about this feature here: https://docs.villatheme.com/woo-orders-tracking/#configuration_child_menu_8571

    Best regards.

    Hi

Before upgrading when we create a Custom Carrier we got its slug in “custom_12345678” format. But After upgrading If I create a Custom Carrier now its slug contains the name.
For example, If I create a New Carrier “TestTrack” its slug should be something like “custom_123456” but its showing name instead “TestTrack”.

    Please guide me about this.

    Regards

    Hi,

That’s how it works: the slug will be generated from the carrier name, and each space will be replaced with a dash.

For example, if the carrier name: Test Track, the slug will be test-track.

    Best regards
