Hi @weblee9164, thanks for reaching out about this.

If you search WordPress > Plugins > Add New and can’t find the plugin, this means it’s no longer in the ww.wp.xz.cn repository.

Wordfence can only check the ww.wp.xz.cn repository (or the “official” way to install plugins) for its abandoned and out-of-date plugin checks. I see the plugin is obtained from Github from your helpful information, so the abandoned plugin may be related (and can no longer be installed in this way), or just share the same slug/name. The slug in this case is business-profile-render.

There’s more emphasis with plugins installed from elsewhere for site admins to be sure they’re always kept up-to-date to prevent vulnerability patches being missed, but other than that you can select to ignore our notice at your discretion.

    Thanks,
    Peter.

Hi @wfpeter , I really appreciate the quick response. Just to give you a rundown on the affected plugin. The plugin is a custom one that works only on our platform APIs. Hence would it be possible to resolve the abandoned plugin message or ignoring the message would be our only option ?

    Thanks again !
