I literally JUST installed this plugin this morning and the update that just happened about an hour ago broke my entire site.

The error says: The site is experiencing technical difficulties. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

I received an email that states the following:

    Howdy!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, WPSSO Ridiculously Responsive Social Sharing Buttons.

Please help. I installed your plugin to use the share in the excerpt and if this can’t be fixed, I will have to switch to a different plugin.

    Thank you.

Thanks for reporting the issue – it’s been fixed in WPSSO RRSSB v2.0.1 (available now).

AWESOME! That was really quick and I appreciate it greatly!!

Same thing happened to me this afternoon (6/25/2019) and tracked it to Social Sharing Buttons – is Version 3.0.2 the fixed version?

    Thanks,
    Andrew

    Hey Andrew,

The version that I updated to that fixed this issue for me is 2.0.1

Hope it works for you, too!

    Thanks EM,

The version indicated to update to on my plugin update window says version 3.0.2, which must be incorrect. I would update my other WPSSO plugins but I am not entirely certain which one will crash my site…

WPSSO RRSSB and WPSSO SSB are not the same add-ons, although both had a similar issue with an undeclared constant variable. WPSSO RRSSB v2.0.2 and WPSSO SSB v3.0.2 are the latest and current versions of each add-on.
