Plugin update for WordPress version 5.6.x compatibility ?

Hi dear @figureone , @the_magician ,

Your “Insert Pages” plugin for WordPress has not been updated for over 2 months and is only compatible up to WordPress version 5.5.3 .

1 day ago and precisely on November 8, 2020 the latest and most updated official and stable version was released of WordPress 5.6.x .

I wanted to ask you the following question:

When will you make your “Insert Pages” plugin compatible with WordPress version 5.6.x , you have an ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) ?

Aloha, we have done internal testing and saw no compatibility issues. We updated the version number, but haven’t updated it on ww.wp.xz.cn yet:

Please let us know if you run into any problems, but it should work fine.

Insert Pages work on 5.5.3 works fine for me but 5.6 fails to load the Insert Pages page at:

https://egpu.io/best-egpu-buyers-guide/

Insert Pages inserts the following page

https://egpu.io/tb3-enclosures/

Please re-check 5.6 compatibility as am delaying upgrade till this page works.

Please provide more details, such as:
* What the shortcodes look like
* What page slug (and page id) is supposed to be inserted, and what page slug (and page id) actually get inserted

Under 5.6, the second link doesn’t get inserted in the first. With current 5.5.3, it works. Feel free to capture the page HTML and test for yourself.

We have tests showing nested inserts working fine in 5.6, so that’s why we’re asking for more details. It might be something specific with the slugs/ids you’re using, so providing those extra details might help.

Still unable to reproduce any problems in our test environments. What gets rendered under WordPress 5.6 instead? Any other plugins get updated at the same time? Any error messages in your server logs?
