After the most plugin update, any new event create breaks the homepage of the site (it has a calendar embedded) and the single-event pages all have broken sidebars (see link). After removing the event created after the issue arose, the site works again (sidebars are still broken). This may be related to the critical issue cited by a user in a recent thread here. Do you have any information about this?

Thanks for contacting us,

We hadn’t worked on the sidebar: https://webnus.net/modern-events-calendar/change-log/ what version did you update from?
Actually, this is about the old version of MEC, we would have displayed a default sidebar widget if we hadn’t got the sidebar. We removed it so all users set what they need.

To fix it you can follow the steps explained in this link:
https://webnus.net/dox/modern-events-calendar/single-events-sidebar/

Note: if you change your WordPress theme, maybe sidebar widgets will be removed.
