plugin updated by itself?

    I recieved the following alerts…

    Warnings:

    * Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/ml-slider/languages/metaslider.mo
    * Modified plugin file: wp-content/plugins/ml-slider/languages/metaslider.po

    I didn’t do a manual update. Is it normal for a plugin to change without being updated?

    Hi Stacey,

    Meta Slider doesn’t do anything to update itself, but more recent versions of WordPress do have the capability to update themselves. Automatic plugin updates are turned off by default, but maybe your theme, another plugin or your host has turned them on.
