[Plugin: Use Google Libraries] Manual tweaking needed?

I currently have a copy of jquery on my server. My WP theme and several plugins use it. If I install this plugin, does it change all of the references to the local jquery copy to point towards the google copy, or do I need to alter the code in the theme/plugins manually?
