[Plugin: User Specific Content] New users being added to all groups

    I’m using User Specific Content to specify user groups and Facebook Connect for login/registration.

    My problem is that any new user is automatically assigned to ALL groups, including the most confidential ones. The root problem seems to be in the WordPress settings where I specify that any new user will be a “subscriber” and this is all of my User Groups are “subscribers” since I only have readers, not authors or contributors, etc.

    Is there any setting where I can tweak this? Most wordpress admins will have infinitely more readers than writers. There’s little point in having a tool that limits content by user group if every new user is by default added to ALL of them.

    Either I don’t understand the problem or you don’t understand how this works 🙂

    If when you say groups you mean roles then that is not the case a new user is only assigned to one role that is defined at the settings page, but if your groups are not roles then i would need more information about those groups.
