After I updated the plugin to version 3.0.7, customers were no longer able to complete the checkout process. I had to roll back to an earlier version. An error appears as soon as they click to pay by card or PayPal.

Please see the error screenshot below:

    Hello @danzilana

This issue is caused by an outdated configuration related to the Landing Page setting in the PayPal plugin. The PayPal API has recently changed and now uses a new experience_context object. In this new structure, the value BILLING is no longer accepted. To fix this, please update the Landing Page setting in the plugin as follows:

    1. Go to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments → PayPal
    2. Scroll down to the Standard Payments section
    3. Find the Landing Page setting
    4. Change it from: Billing (Non–PayPal account)
      to: Login (PayPal account login)

Here is a direct link to a screenshot showing exactly where to find this setting: https://drive.google.com/uc?id=1jKAdVzsCvklXdjkzt4WtQY1bLEguF23U

Technically, this issue should be resolved by making any change on the PayPal plugin settings page, as this forces the configuration to update.

Let us know if its solves the problem.

    Kind Regards,
    Krystian

@inpsydekrystian, I faced the same issue.

In my case, the Landing Page setting was already set to Login, but I was still getting the error. Just to try, I changed it to Billing and the error went away.

    All ok now!

I was in the same situation as @satindersingh – my Landing Page was already set to Login, but the error still occurred.
I switched it to Billing, and that fixed it.

Thanks for the tip – it’s working fine now!

Same for me, no orders for 7 days, changed it from Login to Billing and it now works. Thanks.

Same here switched to Billing and no more errors. Thanks.

En mi caso tuve que cambiar a la opción contraria para que se solucionara.

I had this error yesterday. This resolution worked for me. I changed it to billing, saved the configuration, and then changed it back to login.
