[Plugin: Video Embed & Thumbnail Generator] Error: FFMPEG missing library 'libfaac' or

    Hi,

    Loving the plugin! Exactly what I’ve been looking for. I have an issue with the Generate button though. I get a mising library message and although I wait for a few minutes for it to Encode WEBM it never happens (I check the same dir as the orig file is in)

    I have looked for the libraries in question but I can’t be sure that the ones I have found are compatible or if I’m just not including them correctly.

    Where would you recommend I get libfaac or libx264 from?

    libx264 is available from VideoLAN. I recommend using git. git://git.videolan.org/x264 but I really can’t provide FFMPEG support. There are hundreds of tutorials available for installing the various dependencies and configuring the program correctly. Here’s a pretty good one http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=786095

    You might already have libvo-aacenc installed. I’m releasing a new version of the plugin today or tomorrow that will use libvo-aacenc or libfaac for AAC encoding.
