[Plugin: Video Thumbnails] Vimeo RSS URL rewrite

I use an RSS aggregator on my site. But Vimeo uses a weird URL syntax in their feeds.

So the URLs look like this —> http://vimeo.com/channels/soundworkscollection#41744397 — which leads to an anchor on a page filled with videos (which “Video Thumbnails” can’t understand).

But that same URL can lead to a proper webpage if you remove the extraneous information —> http://vimeo.com/41744397 (which “Video Thumbnails” can understand).

I would like it if the developer were to add this functionality to the plugin. But I can’t imagine this taking more than a few lines of code to implement. Any suggestions?
