[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] enable gzip compression for certain files?
-
How do I enable gzip compression for certain files?
I ran Page Speed in Chrome (scores 80) and have about 20 files displayed (samples below) after a red-buttoned message: “Enable compression – Compressing the following resources with gzip could reduce their transfer size by 210.6KiB (73% reduction).”
I am quite new at this. I am using WP 3.1.3, Polished theme from Elegant Themes, W3 Total Cache 0.9.2.3, WordPress SEO 0.4.2, on a Windows 7 x64 machine and have shared hosting using Linux/Apache. Page Speed in Chrome is 80. Page load time: 12 seconds.
TIA
