• Hey, I’m using the W3 Total Cache Plugin, and under the Minify options, I added my CSS links, and in the /w3tc/min Folder it made some cache files, but I can’t figure out why it won’t create the default.include.css file, or the js script one either.

I checked permissions, what should I check next?

  • First, try to deactivate and reactivate the plugin and see if there are any errors. There should be an .htaccess file in wp-content/w3tc/min/

Then, make sure that ‘Rewrite URL structure’ is checked on the minify settings tab.

Then obviously visit a page in your site to make sure that the file is requested and created.

If that fails, then submit a bug submission using the support tab of the plugin.

I’m having an issue not related to .htaccess but it appears that the minified file only includes half or less of the combined files.

Can you submit a bug submission form from the support tab of the plugin and reference this forum topic?
