• Hi,

I want to make this plugin available to users on a multisite network. I understand that W3 Total Cache can’t be activated sitewide. So, I would at least like to preconfigure settings, so that each site owner will activate the plugin…and our preconfigured settings will already be active.

However, I can’t figure out how to do this. I saw a post somewhere saying that sub-sites can inherit the main site’s settings. However, this isn’t happening for me. I also read that defaults can be hard-coded.

Please let me know the easiest way to preconfigure the plugin so that sub-site users just have to turn it on to use our preconfigured settings.

    Thanks!

    Mark

Also, specifically, is there a way to disable preview mode in sub-sites and just have the plugin always work with preview off? We have reasons that we need to do it this way.

    Thanks!

That feature was broken along the way. For now the “easiest” way is to export and import settings into each site. A centralized management console for specific users will be available for in a future release for multi-site.
