[Plugin: W3 Total Cache] PHP Fatal error wp_cache_get() and get()

    Is anyone going though the same problem here?
    Since i’ve updated the wordpress to version 3.3.1 my error_log is being filled with those errors:

    PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_cache_get() in /var/www/wordpress/html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 347

    and

    PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /var/www/wordpress/html/wp-content/object-cache.php on line 52

    i’ve being researching about this error for 2 days and couldn’t find any solution.
    I’ve already reinstalled wordpress and the plugin, disabled minify, but the error still goes on, the website is working ok, i can access the admin page without problem but my error_log grows really fast with that error.

    I got this upon activating 0.9.2.4:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare w3_microtime() (previously declared in /var/www/harmoniestmichael.nl/_/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache/inc/define.php:144) in /var/www/harmoniestmichael.nl/_/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/w3-total-cache-0.9.2.4/inc/define.php on line 109

    Using WP 3.3.1 and standard 2010 theme. Reverted back to 0.9.1.3

    @boogermann, this error disappears when W3TC is deactivated?

    @sjeng, do you have 2 version of the plugin installed / activated?

    No, I always disable the old one, then activate the new one, then if it works, delete the old directory. I add the version number to the directories so I know which one is the old one and the new one.

    Hi Frederick,

    Is there an ETA on the next release of W3TC? We’re currently experiencing this error on a site and finding it hard to pinpoint where the problem lies. We also tried the development version of W3TC and the error still exists.

    Hi Frederick,

    I am receiving the following error:

    [13-Aug-2012 06:52:29] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_load_translations_early() in …wp-includes/functions.php on line 1129

    I am unable to access http://www.themusicphoenix.com/wp-admin – I am getting the Error 500 message. I can only access what Bluehost allows me to through their CPanel, but not the content on the website.

    Also, time on my website doesn’t exist, another side effect of whatever is happening. The issue occurred early on Friday, August 10 and yet the post from Thursday, August 9 still shows up as 17 hours old… 3 days later.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Time was against me and I’ve completely scrapped the old problematic website. I’ve since started to rebuild.

    This is causing SIGTERM for apache and shutting it down 🙁

    I’m facing the same issue with version 9.2.5.
    Did 9.2.5 contain the fix you mentioned? Should we wait till the next release?
