Im running into a bit of an issue with the plugin, i have been the plugin with no issues on the website and it has worked flawlessly until recently.

    – I am setting the date to delete.
    – Tried removing the plugin and re-adding.
    – Adding an exception to the Cache.
    – Created test posts and let it reach the expiry date to no avail..

Would you have any support on this?

    Hi @pmcc1 ,

Apologies for the delayed response and thank you for your patience.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been having issues with the plugin. Since it was previously working, this usually happens due to one of the following:

    1. Plugin or WordPress updates — sometimes updates change behavior.
    2. Caching — server or plugin caching may prevent the delete action from triggering.
    3. Date / Time settings — ensure your site’s timezone and post expiration date are correct.
    4. Plugin version — the latest plugin version (1.1.6) includes fixes related to class loading and scheduling.

    Recommended steps:

    1. Update the plugin to the latest version.
    2. Clear all caches (browser, site, server).
    3. Test with a simple post set to expire soon.
    4. Temporarily deactivate other plugins that may interfere with scheduling.

If the issue continues, you can provide screenshots of your settings or enable WP_DEBUG to check for errors.

For security reasons, we cannot request login credentials in the forum, but we’ll guide you step by step using these troubleshooting steps.

Thank you again for using Auto Delete Post!

    Best regards,
    Shahadat Hossain
