    Hello,
I’m improving SEO with Yoast plugin on the blog posts page (Not the single post page, the main blog page). I can add meta description and SEO title but it still gives me recommendations on the SEO analysis to add images, links, and that basically there is no content in there, although I do have the blog posts excerpts with their images and all.
It seems like it won’t recognize the content.
I’m using Elementor plugin for my page builder on all other pages but this page is set as a posts page so no editing on this page can be done.
Also I will mention I’m using Astra theme, all plugins are updated and WordPress version is the latest.
Can someone help with this, how should I go about that?

    Thanks,
    Miri

    Hello Miri,

Thanks for reaching out regarding your post archive page. This means in WordPress > Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays, you have set the Posts page to https://clearbridge.ca/blog/. As such, this page can be edited.

However, it will not take into cognisance the content you have in mind e.g the blog posts excerpts with their images and all. Those are not editable from that page since it is an archive page.

You can earn about how to optimize such archive pages at https://yoast.com/wordpress-archive-pages/
