• I’ve filled my site’s Shortname, API Public Key, API Secret Key and API Access Token in Disqus’ “Site Configuration” tab, but although the page refreshes and say everything was saved, when I leave it and go back, the API Access Token field is blank again.

Because of that, I can’t enable Sync features.

    Help.

Still nothing. And the Disqus team seems to have abandoned the support. They won’t reply here or via their support email anymore.

    How sad.

Same issue here. Also running via CloudFlare (if that matters – probably not)

It’s been 6 months and nothing yet. The Disqus plugin has been completely useless for me since then.

The issue has to do with Cloudflare. I have the same problem on a site using a Cloudflare paid plan. On the staging version though, that bypasses the Cloudflare service, works fine. This almost certainly has to do with how Cloudflare handles SSL. I also found here (https://www.howson.me/fixing-disqus-comments-when-using-cloudflare/) that in order to run the Disqus scripts you need to add data-cfasync=”false” to bypass Cloudflare’s rocket loader.
