Plugin WooCommerce causes fatal error

    Hello,
    I just installed WP on my server and want to install WooCommerce as well.
    I chose the manual installation and put the WooCommerce folder on my sever via FTP.
    Everything fine, Woocommerce is shown in the plugins ready to activate, but when i press the link “activate” I get the following message on top:
    Das Plugin kann nicht aktiviert werden, da es einen fatalen Fehler erzeugt (the plugin can’t be activated because it causes a fatal error) and then:

    Anybody knows what the problem might be?
