At the moment I just upload the featured image twice though I would like to know of any other solutions too.
Hm, that’s a good solution. I haven’t used this plugin since my original post, but thanks for the idea.
I was working on woocommerce for a project, and was looking for the same zoom in function. Came across this plug, it’s not this plug bug. It’s built in woocommerce by default like that. To enable the featured image as in thumbnail gallery, go to plugins/woocommerce/templates/single-product dir and comment out this line:
‘post__not_in’ => array( get_post_thumbnail_id() ),
//’post__not_in’ => array( get_post_thumbnail_id() ),
Now you should be good, all the images should be there in thumbnail gallery for a product including the featured image.
Hope, it works for you guys.
Thanks mmarif4u, I’ll be sure to try it out. 🙂
@mmarif4u i tried what you suggested but its still not working. furthermore, if it works, will it allow the visitor to navigate between multiple images?
@hash.tag, you have to make sure the featured image is uploaded to the same post other wise selecting featured image from the media gallery will not work.
What i do is, upload the images i want to show as gallery images for that product and upload a featured image too. That will set the featured image as default thumbnail and will show up in the gallery too by commenting that piece of code.
Are you using this plugin or using the extension from woocommerce, woocommerce-professor-cloud?
I am using woocommerce-professor-cloud, and it works fine.
Note: the file is product-thumbnails.php in single-product folder.
@mmarif4u thanks for your response. i’m using the plugin (http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/cloud-zoom-for-woocommerce/).
btw, your trick seems working. thanks for that.
but i’m still facing a problem… when i select any image from product gallery, its thumbnail shrinks. the image hover still works with shrunken images. wondering if you know how to fix this!
The solution proposed by mmarif4u does work.
You have to do what he says but he didn’t mention the file.
The file is product-thumbnails.php
Hi, I’m trying to use WooCommerce Cloud Zoom Image Plugin with WooCommerce but don’t work http://www.theluxleather.it/prodotto/stampato-serpente/
Can you help me?
The problem is your images were resized by css, thus they are not the size they seem to be. You have to resize them not by css
Sorry but I don’t understand. Now image is 422×700 pixel but it’s the same
