• I have two issues:

    1. To get to the options page of Wordbooker is realy slow, though my site and everything else is very fast! (http://upsyndroom.nl)
    2. Regarding the command handling options:
I have the facebook comment structure field set to ‘%tag%’ (standard?) but how do I actually display any comments on my fanpage (given on the website) because now all it shows is:
    โ€Ž[Commentaar geรฏmporteerd van blog] %tag%
So the actually comment is not shown.

    Thanks a million.

You could try turning off the show recent activity option. Also if you have a lot of diagnostic data that will slow it down, as can a large number of plugins .

Read the user manual for how to have the comment structure. It isn’t set to work out of the box.

Thanks! ๐Ÿ™‚ I will start searching for the user manual now ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s in the documents folder in the download. Also linked from the admin page

    Got it, thanks!!

PS: Diagnostics is already disabled, so I am afraid I need to live with the slow response..though it is a little weird

anway, it is solved with the comment handling.. it’s working nicely now.. but again, very slow.. manually running took over 5 minutes..

Manually running what ? Comment handling iinvolves a lot of interaction with FB so if there are problems there it will slow things down

I can look at trying to work out where it’s running slow when I get hone tonight

I selected the option (blue button) to “RUN COMMENT HANDLING NOW”

Yes, that would be great!! Thanks a lot.. pls let me know if you would require more info?

    cheers!

Comment handling doesn’t run when you visit the admin page so it shouldn’t affect page load times.

Well, actually it does… thats weird.. anyway, you are welcome to check for yourself if you would like.. I could setup a temp user for you and send details via email??

Comment handling shouldn’t run – unless I’ve left something in there when I was debugging things. I can check the code and try to work out what’s going on…. and I’ve checked the code in the svn repository and comment handling shouldn’t run unless there is something funky with your php timezone settings.. there might be a fix for that but it means editing code and I don’t see that it really should make any difference.

So ? Do you want to check something? Or need more information? Just let me know? It is realy slow, dont know how I could show it to you?

How do you know comment handling is running each time you go to the options page? If you turn on the diagnostic tracing and clear down the log and then go back to the options page what does it show in the Diagnostic messages section.

    Hi Steve,

To clarify what I mean with slow response, pls. bare with me.. I am recording a video (screenrecorder).. ๐Ÿ˜‰ Will upload it to youtube in a few minutes (I hope)

PS: Comment handling is set to std value (every 30 min)

Upload is finished! ๐Ÿ™‚ Pls check http://youtu.be/NhYTBEQzmLU

Very odd – Can you post the support information from the bottom of the Wordbooker options page? Also is the “show recent activity” featured turned on?

Also if you turn diagnositcs up to show everything and clear the logs and then go away from the page and come back does it show anything? I wondering if the cache refresh is running for some odd reason.
