I’m getting:

A database backup cannot be created because WordPress does not have write access to ”, please create the folder ” manually.

What folder is this and how do I set appropriate permissions?

That error should be displaying ‘wp-content/backups’ id say adding the ability to backup on standard installs is causing issues here.

Update: This has now been fixed in 0.9.4.

Updated to 0.9.4 and next backup was successful. Will try backing up again today.

Please try uninstalling and re installing the plugin. Sometimes WordPress borks upgrades.
