• Hi,

I’ve got an enhancement request, but I’m not sure if I’m placing it in the right board.

At this moment, my database is too big to back-up.
I’m running wordpress on a shared host at a webhost company, so I can’t change any server settings.
My database is around 15 MB.
I think because of an time-out setting, the database back-up your plugin is performing, never ends, so my files are never being back-upped.

Could you make an option to not back-up the database?
I’m using a PHP-script right now and have putted that in crontab (via DirectAdmin) which is mailing me a compressed database every X time.
Because I wanted my files to be back-upped, I had to edit the code myself that the database is not being back-upped anymore (disabled line 258 in Clasees/class-wp-backup.php).

Thank you for taking this in consideration.

    Kind regards,

    Guuzz
