• Hello!

First of all, thank you so much for this great plugin. It worked for me like a charm since the beginning, but I’m having some problems since I last updated WordPress to 3.4.1 and the plugin to 1.2.2. I did both at the same time so I don’t know which one broke which.

I tried reinstalling/deactivating/etc to no avail.

The plugin installs correctly but whenever I try to access it via the dashboard it gives me the following message (I can’t even edit preferences etc):

    Error

There was a fatal error loading WordPress Backup to Dropbox, please reload the page and try again.

If the problem persists please re-install WordPress Backup to Dropbox.

Error message: Need OpenSSL support for https:// requests

I’ve googled around and found someone else who had a similar problem three months ago with a windows server. Michael said you should have SSL installed and running on your server, which seemed to solve the problem for that person.

Nevertheless, I’m using a UNIX server with SSL enabled (from phpinfo()):

    Apache/2.2.15 (FreeBSD) mod_ssl/2.2.15 OpenSSL/0.9.8k DAV/2 PHP/5.3.2 with Suhosin-Patch
    Loaded Modules: ... mod_ssl ...

Yet, the problem persists and I don’t know why. I need your help!

    Thanks a lot,

    Marco
