[Plugin: WordPress Backup to Dropbox] SQL Syntax Error

    Recently I transitioned to an installation of WordPress Multisite. I had been using WPB2D in order to daily backup all of my data, including my databases. Earlier today something happened erasing all posts and comments across my site. I have yet to narrow down what caused this destruction.

    When I went to restore my databases via the SQL backup I had I received this error:
    “#1064 – You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘-db’ at line 5”

    The process only got as far in as to create my database. (Line 5).

    I would like to know what is causing this ASAP so I can remedy the situation. Thanks.

    I may have just solved this issue. Turns out SQL doesn’t like database names having hyphens in them. Note to self: always use underscores for MySQL databases.
