[Plugin: WordPress Gallery] Gallery Styles

Hi, I love this plugin! Unfortunately I need to format the gallery to my needs, but I can’t find where the <div id=”wordpress_gallery”> is generated. Could someone please tell me exactly where the div is created so that I can add some styles? Or if there is a simple way to change alignment and position on the page?
