[Plugin: WordPress Importer] Importer looses data

I understand why this importer is version 0.2 but don’t understand why there isn’t a more finished version of an importer for WordPress to WordPress itself. That should be the easiest migration.

I exported all blog data from 3.0.1 and imported into a mutlisite version of 3.0.1.

Errors I found so far:

• Users without posts not imported
• Users imported as display name instead of user name
• Imported users loose first/last name and email information (probably more)
• Special tags such as Youtube video tags in post are lost.

Very disappointing.
