[Plugin: WordPress Mailing List Builder] funky error message- help please!

    HI
    I am anxious to use this plugin on my sites and recommend it to my team members but I get this error on my plugin set up page…

    Warning: curl_setopt() [function.curl-setopt]: CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when in safe_mode or an open_basedir is set in /home/reathel/public_html/kennyanderica/wp-content/plugins/mailing-list-builder/grapi.php on line 123

    Not sure what I have done wrong.

    Hi Erica,

    In your PHP configuration, you have safe_mode switched on. It’s not possible for this plugin to connect to GetResponse’s servers when this is turned on.

    The plugin was tested on Bluehost.com — one of the largest hosting companies around — and there were no problems.

    I guess you could try talking to your hosting provider and ask them to switch off safe_mode. More info on safe_mode can be found here.

    hello,

    first thanks for the plug-in. It does seem like it will make my life a whole lot easier. Ijust need your support with the following error.

    Fatal error: Class ‘WP_Widget’ not found in /home/fxtoacom/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/mailing-list-builder/mlb.php on line 160

    any help would be appreciated 🙂

    Nice looking plugin 🙂

    I am having the same problem as Erica_J … throws up the following when I activate the plugin.

    Warning: curl_setopt() [function.curl-setopt]: CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when in safe_mode or an open_basedir is set in /home/makingmo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailing-list-builder/grapi.php on line 123

    I have confirmed that “safe mode=Off” on my server.

    I am running WP 2.8.4

    My email addy is ppcisme at gmail dot com

    Sorry, I don’t know the solution to this problem.

    I may stop supporting the plugin and announce this on the plugin’s page soon.
