[Plugin: WordPress Mobile Pack] Problems with custom theme

    Hi! I’m having some issues with creating a custom theme for WP Mobile Pack. I used the base theme as a starting point and made some minor edits to some of the PHP files as well (header.php, index.php, footer.php), not just the CSS. Now, after I moved the folder with the theme and started that theme in the admin, I get PHP errors when I switch to the mobile theme. Errors like: “Fatal error: Cannot redeclare wpmp_theme_init()”.

    I’m not good with PHP, so I don’t really know what to do. Could anyone help?

    It sounds like you copied functions.php into your custom theme.

    Don’t copy all of the files in the base theme into the custom theme. Only copy the ones you want to modify.

    And unless you are fairly proficient in PHP don’t modify or copy functions.php as it requires special handling.
