• I installed this plugin and first it crashed the admin page and I had to go and adjust the memory allocation in the php.ini.

Now I can’t get to any “deeper” admin pages than the first because it is redirecting it to the mobile version of the pages – which don’t apparently exist. Same thing with the blog itself.

Now I have to waste a LOT of time trying to figure out how to uninstall this plugin without access to the administrative panels.

    Very disappointed.

  • I had this same problem too!
Got a bit scared after being unable to log in as admin on the desktop backend any more.
No matter if i had clicked on ‘switch to desktop’, closed the firefox, cleaned the browser cache, tried again, changed url, etc.

But I could log in as admin using another brower, IE, and managed to uninstall the plugin properly using the control panel and revert everything to what was before.

After this frustration and 1 entire day of work wasted, i’m not sure if i’m trying again. I’m gonna check if there is a solution to this problem.

Try using the FTP to uninstall it, by deleting the plugin’s folder.

Also, about the mobile pack redirecting you to the mobile page as the admin panel… I’ve had the same issue, but mine was functional, and had a link below to switch to the desktop version… Isn’t yours showing that link ?

I downloaded a plugin designed to allow me to detach media from a page so I could reattach it to another page. I immediately got the follow error message: Fatal error: Call to undefined function remove_submenu_page() in /home/content/36/7283136/html/wp-content/plugins/unattach/unattach.php on line 39 and I have been unable to login in to my administrative panel. Obviously the plugin is at fault, but how can I access the plugin’s folder to delete it if I cannot get past the login page? I have a website for my business sitting out there but no way to access it and no person to contact to figure this out. Please help.

You have to access your website using FTP (and not the WordPress Admin page), and then just delete this plugin files. You will have to remove its entire folder, that is /wp-conten/plugins/unnattach

Hey guys, I could do with some help. I just tried to install a linkex software (I think it is called maribol) on my wp and now I’m locked out of my wp account with the below error message:

Call to undefined function remove_submenu_page() in /home/ecosolar/public_html/wp-content/plugins/maribol-wp-link-exchange/admin.php on line 32

I have changed my password just in case but can’t get in now

    Thanks Icarlos.

Forgive me but I’m a novice. What is the location of the folder? Is the typical location where these folders are downloaded in the plugins area?

    Cheers!

Do you have FTP access to your website?
If yes, when you connect to your website you will see a list of folders.
    Go to /home/ecosolar/public_html/wp-content/plugins/
This is de default plugins folder for your website.
There you will see the /maribol, that is probably the one causing you problems, and you have to remove it to try to make your website working again.

Cool dude! Thanks. All done now.

I have word press 3.0.1. Can you recommend a good linkex. My last web designer didn’t do the best job and upgrading wp version will wreck my site.
