    I currently have several contributors on my WordPress blog. I wanted to find out if it is possible to show popular posts by specific contributors? Basically, if a reader clicks any blog post by Contributor #1, can this plugin display the popular posts by Contributor #1 on that blog post on the right sidebar or below the current article? Kind of like a “Related Posts”, but only to that specific contributor?

    Hi pantone,

    Unfortunately, there’s no way to achieve this yet. It does sound like a good idea, though. I can try adding this feature into my plugin if you like.

    Hi there,

    I’m very interested in this feature too. I run a multi-author magazine’s site, and this feature would be great for our author pages.

    Hi rash,

    The latest version of the plugin already provides a way to achieve this. If you’re using the widget, simply put the author ID in the Author(s) ID(s) field and save changes. That’ll display only popular posts from that author.

    Both the wpp_get_mostpopular() template tag and the [wpp] shortcode are also able to do this. You need to pass them the author parameter with the ID.

    Cool, thank you very much!
    I prefer to use the template tag (and this is why I’ve missed the widget option), I’ll give it a go asap on my test versione of the web site and then publish it once I get what I need.
    I’ll post my results here.
