• Hi, I really like this plugin so firstly my thanks to Héctor Cabrera for creating it.

I also use the plugin WP-PostRatings and was noticing that the sidebar was using showing the ratings alongside posts. I personally use the shortcode to call the plugin as I find it more customisable this way.

I wanted the ratings to NOT show though and saw the following in the guide:

“Rating – If set, and if the WP-PostRatings plugin is installed and enabled on your blog, WordPress Popular Posts will show how your visitors are rating your entries – 1 (true), (0) false”

However on attempting to add “rating=0” to my shortcode I found the ratings were still showing. After a lot of thinking I found adding “rating-1” actually DISABLES the ratings next to the posts and “rating-0” actually adds them. I’m not sure if this was Héctor’s intention but I personally found it a little confusing and just thought I would mention it.

    Regards,
    Mark
