This is a commonly asked question, and has already been answered at least once on these support forums.
There is no multi-lingual support as I don’t have the skills or finance to implement such a feature. If you’d be willing to finance the extension for other languages, I’d consider it.

its not a translation issue. you have just set the names and descriptions collation in latin-swedish collation. this is the issue. I have changed the collations to utf-8 turkish (or you may choose utf-8 general) and the problem is solved. and i have written a post in turkish about this situation in my blog. You can use google translate to read it.
WP Charset Problem
I don’t set the charset when the database table is created. It just defaults to whatever MySQL is set up to be. Even if I updated the SQL, I suspect that the upgrade feature of WP wouldn’t do the charset too.
However, I’ll update the FAQ, and update the SQL to use ‘UTF-8 General’.
Thanks
Dan
I have just updated WP Portfolio to use UTF8 for all new installations. For existing installations, visit the settings page, and you can upgrade to UTF-8.
A donation or great rating would be appreciated.

Thank you very much for this update. Also the pager settings in WP Portfolio does not support multi-languages. I have modified the previous version for supporting turkish words.
You can find the download link in
WP Portfolio with Turkish Support and Previous Button
While speaking about the previous version, the pager always has “Next” button. Don’t have a “Previous” button. I also did modified the algorithm to support navigating back. You can also download this algoritm’s source code from the link above.
Hello,
It’s actually on my list of features to do is to support multiple languages. Did you want to sponsor that feature?
