[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] – How to Hardcode Metadata

    I am very particular about the order I want my meta data to show up ..

    Is there a way to hardcode it in my template. I have searched and searched and I apologize if there is a thread that exists.. but I can not find it ..
    I know about the title tag – <?php wp_title(”); ?>

    What are the calls for keywords, description, etc…

    Any guidance or help would be wonderful.

    It’s not in the theme most likely.

    most themes do not come with any meta, you add your own if you are so inclined…..

    Why did you include Yoast’s plugin name in the title, your question has nothing to do with the plugin?

    the format for your header would be:

    <meta name='description' content='your description'/>
	<meta name='keywords' content='and your keywords'/>

    however by hardcoding, they won’t change per post/page, and therefore become pretty much pointless……

    I apparently was not clear. I apologize for that.

    I am using the WordPress SEO plugin.

    I want to pull from each page or post based on what I fill out.
    I want to modify my header myself. The same way you can modify the title tag with the php code (by it pulling the title from a page or post)… I want to do that for keywords and description.

    I want to know the php code to insert for meta-keywords and description.
    It will then pull it from the page or post.
