I got Yoast installed but for some reason it does not rewrite the SEO meta tags for blog posts.

I got the following settings setup in Yoast SEO:

Post
Title template: %%title%%
Meta description template: %%excerpt%%
```
Why won’t it rewrite? how to fix this?

Thank you. I am seeing both title and description tags in the HTML source for your blog posts. The title field is the title of the post and the description is the excerpt. It looks like the plugin is working properly. If you can provide an example of how you see it is not working, I would be glad to see it.
