[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Nosnippet

    I’ve noticed the plugin is inserting “nosnippet” along with noydir and noodp. This is not favorable to me, as I have been fairly happy with the snippets Google has been choosing, being customized for the particular search query.

    I think some pages can obviously benefit from custom descriptions, but especially for the homepage, I’d like to let Google pick my descriptions.

    How can I change this setting?

    This is under Indexation in the settings, 5th box down, it has some sitewide settings. Let me know if changing that works 🙂

    I’ll do that now, and more once I’ve had some time with it.

    I’d like to say that this goes far beyond anything else. Put aside all the robots, sitemaps, breadcrumbs, canonical, etc. The interface it gives clients is absolutely priceless. 15 minutes training a client in how to create an optimized post using the focus keyword will save me hours of cleaning up messes.
