[Plugin: WordPress SEO by Yoast] Transfer SEO data from theme

    I have a theme with built-in SEO (Headway). I’m switching to a theme that doesn’t have built-in SEO, so I need a plugin like yours. Will your plugin automatically read the data left behind by Headway so I can utilize it with the new theme?

    Mike, check out the SEO Data Transporter plug-in. It’s available in the ww.wp.xz.cn plug-in directory. It will easily transfer your meta data from Headway to another SEO plugin (including Yoast’s SEO plug-in).

    Thanks Katy, I figured I could use that plugin if I had to, but I was wondering if it was necessary. Greg’s High Performance SEO Plugin, for example, can read the SEO data left behind and utilize it without the need for the Data Transporter plugin. (At least it can do that if you’re coming from AIOSEO or other plugins … not sure about coming from Headway.) So I was wondering if Yoast’s SEO plugin had a similar feature that would work coming from Headway.
