[Plugin: WordPress Tabs Slides] Problem with basic links within slider tabs

I’m having issues getting basic links to work within tabs in the WordPress Tabs Slides plugin. I have found that switching the arrangement of a tab occasionally will make the links within the body text work, but this is sporadic and I can’t figure out the logic of why links aren’t working 99% of the time.

Here is an example of the plugin in use and the issues I’m having.

Under the Resources tab there are several links (to PDFs hosted off-site), which are bolded and should be links, but are not working correctly. More specifically, the links are styled (bold and red), and they are formated as links in the code, but there is no hover action, no change in the tooltip, and no way for the visitor to know that the text is a link they can click.

Have other people run into this problem? I see that there is a thread about linking to a specific tab, but that doesn’t address my issue because I’m not trying to send a visitor to a specific spot in the tabs, I’m trying to link out of the tabs.
