[Plugin: WordPress.com Stats] WordPress.com Stats will not recognize my Askimet Key

    I had this same problem with my other blog. This time it is on my main site- http://multipleverses.com
    I installed Jetpack and had to disable it because it did not allow me to use my visual editor. When I removed Jetpack- my wordpress.com stats plugin would not work. I get the error that I do not have access to my askimet key and am not an authorized user of it even though I have askimet up and running no problem on my blog.

    Uninstalled Jetpack completely – uninstalled wordpress.com stats plugin- reinstalled wordpress and then reinstalled the plugin.

    Error message after entering my api key:
    Error from last API Key attempt:

    The owner of that API Key is not on the access list for this blog (3250971). Stats was installed using a different API key. The owner of the original key can add users to the access list, or you can contact WordPress.com support.
