    Would it be possible to add a feature to download & install TeMerc from within WP-Check Spammers’ settings page? It could install it somewhere in wp-content and automatically set the Spam Checking Server to point to this install? Might be handy for situations like I’m in now — able to access the site admin, install plugins, etc. but no FTP credentials.

    Also, replacing the mail() call with wp_mail() will allow the WP Mail SMTP plugin to control SMTP auth settings (they’re using phpmailer).
