[Plugin: WP-dTree] step by step directions please

Hi I have activated wpd-tree but although I can get the title of the menu, there is nothing underneath. I believe it might be in the settings but I don’t know what to change them to….
Also… I have dragged the category one only into the sidebar. I am using twenty ten.
If anyone can offer assistance that would be great.
