Hi Tricia,
To clarify, the public support forums are not moderated directly by Instinct, the company that develops WPeC. The community moderates that, so YMMV.
The limited resources they have are devoted primarily to premium support topics. You can get a premium support ticket with the Gold Cart (not just the developer’s version) which only costs $39.

You really should get at least forum access to a paid members support forum when you buy it.
I bought it and it was just a waste of money. It doesn’t do simple things like flat rate per item shipping rates and there is no support (except paid support) for an item that you pay for.
Don’t do it. IMHO, there are better options than paying for something that doesn’t work and then paying to get that broken thing supported.
WP e-Commerce is a sham.
It took a couple of days, but Ray, from WP e-Commerce support did contact me.
He was very friendly and even offered to help with a problem in the javascript of the Mazine Theme that may be causing some of my issues.
I’ll let you guys know when it works.
Looks like I may have been too quick to praise WP e-Commerce. They are no longer answering any emails.
I have requested a simple status as to where they stand on the problems but I am no longer getting any response from them.
So when you’ve spent alot of hours working with the plugin and find out how buggy it is you can spend 39 dollars on premium support? I would pay that if I wanted out of the ordinary support, but we’re talking core functionality here… Plugin is too unstable IMO.
It has let me to redo a customers site in a real shop-cms instead. I would recommend people to avoid using this plugin. It’s slow, buggy and not worth the time fixing.
Actually it’s not that difficult to incorporate the wordpress blog into something like prestashop or magento, if you want to.
