[Plugin: WP e-Commerce] Product Operation Timed Out

    We have been having problems with our cart for the past 5 days off and on, sometimes it works just fine and sometimes it take forever when clicking on actual product on product page and then it gives this error “Operation timed out after 25 seconds with 0 bytes received” I’ve upgraded to the latests WP ecommerce widget that you have. not sure what else can be wrong?

    Sounds like you might have a resource-intensive process running on WP_Cron if it is intermittent.

    There is a plugin called Cron View (and another called Core Control) that would allow you to see what events are running on WP_Cron. Some are set by WordPress, some by WPeC – potentially other events are run by your theme or other plugins.

    One similar issue comes to mind where a user had dozens of sites pinged every time a product was updated and that caused the issue. Not necessarily the case in your scenario – but I’d bet WP_Cron is the right place to look.

    OMG thank you @justinsainton!

    I have been tearing my hair out with the same issue. Turned out the customer had added a whole heap of links to the ‘update services’ list to ping sites.
