[Plugin: WP Featured Content Slider] DOM not ready, queueing slideshow

The Featured Content Slider works fine in FireFox and Chrome. But in IE and Safari (Windows desktop version), the images aren’t loaded. Further inspectoin shows the error:
DOM not ready, queueing slideshow.
I’m using the latest version of Featured Content Slider (2.6). Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this?http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/wp-featured-content-slider/
