Hi
So sorry for the delay.
This normally happens when your theme’s footer.php file doesnt contain the following line in it:
<?php wp_footer(); ?>
Please confirm if that is in the footer.php of your theme?
I don’t see that exact line. Instead it has
<?php wp_foots(); ?>
Do I add the line you referenced? I’m always reluctant to change anything.
And I’m not very technical, duh!
Vera
Hi
Don’t remove that line yet.
Please post the map shortcode to a private post and send me the URL so I can have a look and identify exactly what the problem is.
Kind regards
Nick
The problem seems to be solved, magically, although I didn’t change anything. The map is now showing up in the post I was originally struggling with. http://atravelerslibrary.com/2012/09/26/hidden-danger-of-amazon-adventure/
Would appreciate your taking a look anyhow to see if there are any potential problems.
Meanwhile, thanks for your response, Nick.
BUT, after I wrote that note, I tried a private post with the same short code and got a blank.

Hi
That post is no longer available. Did you come right?
Kind regards
Nick
Nick,
That private post link IS available–to me, at least. I assume you need to be signed in as a user in order to see it?
At any rate the map plug-in seems to be working, with one caveat. I installed it today on this post:
http://atravelerslibrary.com/2012/10/03/five-spooky-movie-locations/
My only problem now is that the map does not show up in the preview view at A Traveler’s Library. It only shows up after the post is published. That’s a bit of a problem, because it means I can’t check to see if it is positioned right without publishing, and therefore sending out to subscribers.
I upgraded to the pro version. Did I miss something, or does the free version only allow ONE map? If so that should be made more clear in the description.
Hi VeraMarie
Thank you for your comments.
Kind regards
Nick
