[Plugin: WP MediaTagger] Bulk tag mgmt?

    Thank you for this very interesting and powerful plugin!

    I’m just giving MediaTagger a spin, but I can’t seem to find an IMHO key piece of functionality: how to apply tags to many images at once.

    If the media library is rather large, the initial cfg would become a very tedious and repetitive process if going one by one. A place to select all pertinent images, which shall get the same set of tags would be very useful, I think.

    Also may note that when using with the latest WP 3.12RC3, the switch to Media Explorer seems very slow (~1 min) for just 150 pcs in my local DB.

    Alex,

    Bulk tagging is a feature that you are not the first to request. I put it in good position on my todo list.

    Concerning the switch to the media explorer panel,I am running WP 3.1.3 and my DB holds more than 1,600 images. Time to switch is not neglictable, but less than 20 sec in any case.

    Is your server response time generally ok ?

    Hi and thanks for the reply.

    Great to know you’re planning ahead for the bulk tagging. With this it’d be exactly what I was looking for.

    My DB’s on my laptop. I haven’t had any problems with other plugins managing the same amount of data. Probably a configuration thing though (3.13|3.2-RC3+PHP5+IIS7.5).
