Problem 1 fixed for me – Forum links:
The link issue has to do with my forum link to UCP.php. Before I had the full path to ucp, then I changed it to the url link, but it didn’t work, so and I then changed it to ../ and it worked. Here’s more of a break down of how I fixed it:
original path:
/home/content/f/a/c/fac7orx/html/prac1/ucp.php
I changed it to this, but it didn’t work:
pixelsmashers.com/prac1/ucp.php
So, this it what fixed it for m
../prac1/ucp.php
So, yeah I manage to fix one of the problems. It was a silly mistake on my end heh. However, I am still having issues with cross posting.
I cannot seem to get cross posting working on the forum.

When you assign some categories to some forums, there is no any automated way to submit all of your existing posts into phpBB. But from now, each post you create and you assign it to that specific category will be posted to phpBB spesific forum !
About the second problem you encounter, there is a fault of you. What you have to enter is the full URL to ucp.php and not the file system path.
So in example you have to enter something like that:
http://www.mysite.com/forum/ucp.php

I managed to fix the first problem with the URL, but I still can’t get cross posting working even after a new post. Do I need to create a new category or something? I have categorized checked in and it doesn’t seem to work.

I fixed it hehe. I didn’t have myself check as an author. I though it was already checked in, but it wasn’t. Yeah, I know a bunch of silly mistakes on my part, but that’s the whole process of getting familiar with the mod :).
After I verify a few things, I am going to go to use old theme on the test site and start playing around with the functions. Do you think it is possible to replicate the top of my site using this plugin? (See how there is an avatar, rank, etc there).

Okay, I found somethings that don’t seem to be there. So, maybe this is a feature request, but here are the new issues I experienced:
1- Updating a news post in wordpress does not merge with the original forum post made from wordpress. Instead it just makes a new forum post.
2- posts made in phpbb do not carry over to wordpress.
