Ahhh, looks like I panicked a bit too soon. I took a look at the server logs and it looks like this plug-in pushed wordpress over it’s memory limit.
But, upon getting things back up and running it looks like there’s a conflict with the Paid Memberships Pro plug-in. I’m getting error that looks like:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare _recaptcha_qsencode() (previously declared in …/wp-content/plugins/paid-memberships-pro/includes/lib/recaptchalib.php:47) in …/wp-content/plugins/wp-recaptcha/recaptchalib.php on line 55
Thanks!
i just ran into this same problem:-( i then disabled pmp, enabled wp-recaptcha for comments, then when i reenabled pmp, all i get is blank screen, no way to fix it:-(
error.log:

oops, spoke 2 soon: bwp-recaptcha interferes w/ pmp registration, but @ least it doesn’t kill the admin screens;-}
